Jillian Nellie Hennely was born on the 25th of November, 1968. She is a talented Canadian actor and singer who has contributed a major contribution to American television. She was the main character in the American TV's Law & Order, where she was a delight to viewers as prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy has also showcased her talents in films like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. In addition, she produced and wrote these movies. Hennessy started her acting career in the year 1988 with her sister in the role of twin call girls in the film Dead Ringers. In 1990, she was in a short stint on Broadway in the role of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Then, she moved to sci-fi, and played the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. Her breakthrough came at the end of 1993, after she was cast as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. As part of the show, she was awe-inspiring to audiences for three seasons from 1996. The actress was awarded an Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award for her performance in the series. Parker received the Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her part as Proof in the musical Proof on Broadway.
