Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer well-known for his unique mix of soul gospel jazz R&B and R&B. The singer has worked everywhere from Broadway through The Democratic National Convention to the European scene of clubs and festivals. Sunshine has been born Denise White. Though she's located in Atlanta however, her roots lie in Chester Pennsylvania. There she first began to develop the musical profession by as a singer and pianist at the church. She attended Spellman College and began to study the R&B styles of Atlanta. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals Stalk You A House 12 was only released in Japan. It's been remixed many times, and is the mainstay in her live performance. She has also contributed her voice for The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. In 2005, she was commissioned as the lead keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her voice she asked Sunshine to be part of the Dreamgirls production at Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine received national attention during her four daily performances in 2008 at the Democratic National Convention. She was then invited to perform during President Obama's 2008 inauguration.
