Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born into a musical family on 9 August 1963 at Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. as well as a cousin of the singing sensation Dionne Warwick. Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchorwoman for the CNN newsroom as well as a political correspondent for CNN.
